چکیده
Abstract Background The pathophysiology of isolated coronary artery ectasia (CAE) with the slow flow (CSF) phenomenon is still unclear. purpose this study was to investigate risk factors for CAE complicated CSF. Methods A total 126 patients were selected retrospectively. grouped into no CSF (NCSF) group (n = 55) and 71) according corrected thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) frame count (CTFC). Data on demographics, laboratory measurements, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd), CTFC diameters three arteries collected. Results proportions males (84.5% vs. 61.8%, p 0.004) a smoking history (63.4% 43.6%, 0.021) higher than NCSF group. neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) (2.08(1.68–3.21) 1.89 ± 0.58, 0.001), mean (mean D) (5.50 0.85 5.18 0.91, < uric acid (URIC) level (370.78 109.79 329.15 79.71, 0.019) significantly group, while lymphocyte-to-monocyte (LMR) (4.81 1.66 5.96 1.75, 0.001) albumin (ALB) (44.13 4.10 45.69 4.11, 0.036) lower. Multivariable logistic analysis showed that LMR (odds ratio: 0.614, 95% CI: 0.464–0.814, D 2.643, 1.54–4.51, URIC 1.006, 1.001–1.012, 0.018) independent predictors CAE. Conclusions negative predictor CAE, positive predictors.

Could neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio be an indicator of coronary artery disease, coronary artery ectasia and coronary slow flow?
Objective To determine whether neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) differed between patients with isolated coronary artery disease (CAD), isolated coronary artery ectasia (CAE), coronary slow flow and normal coronary anatomy. Methods Patients who underwent coronary angiography were consecutively enrolled into one of four groups: CAD, coronary slow flow, CAE and normal coronary anatomy. Results Th...
متن کاملAssociation of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio with presence of isolated coronary artery ectasia.
OBJECTIVES Coronary artery ectasia (CAE) has been defined as a dilated artery luminal diameter that is at least 50% greater than the diameter of the normal portion of the artery. Isolated CAE is defined as CAE without significant coronary artery stenosis and isolated CAE has more pronounced inflammatory symptoms. Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is widely used as a marker of inflammation an...
متن کاملEvaluation of Electrocardiogram Changes in Patients with Slow Coronary Flow
Background: Slow coronary flow (SCF) is defined as a condition in which in spite of no evidence of coronary occlusion or stenosis in angiography, there is delayed pacification of the vessels after the injection of a contrast agent. There are several studies about electrocardiogram (ECG) changes in these patients, but changes like OLD MI, RBBB, LBBB, LVH and ST-T wave have not b...
متن کاملAssociation of serglycin levels with isolated coronary artery ectasia.
BACKGROUND Serglycin plays an important role in the inflammatory status, but the relationship between coronary artery ectasia (CAE) and serglycin is still unknown. AIM In this study, we aimed to investigate the association of serglycin level with isolated CAE. METHODS Fifty-two patients with isolated CAE and 35 individuals with normal coronary angiography were included into the study. The M...
متن کاملComparison of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio in patients with coronary artery ectasia versus patients with obstructive coronary artery disease.
BACKGROUND Previous studies have demonstrated that inflammation, neurohormonal process and cardiovascular risk factors are associated with the development of coronary artery ectasia (CAE). However, the underlying mechanisms responsible for ectasia formation are not fully understood. The neutrophil to lymphocyte (N/L) ratio has recently emerged as a new inflammation marker for cardiovascular dis...
